digital waxing waiver-an electronic product that lets you bid farewell to paper waiver

Waxing/Defuzzing

This agreement releases Beautiful Beastie from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during waxing. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold Beautiful Beastie entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

I also acknowledge the risks involved in facial and body waxing. These include but are not limited to redness swelling or tenderness. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. I understand that I am unable to receive any wax if I have used any products containing Alpha Hydroxy Acid or glycolic products in the past 48-72 hours. Clients are recommended to be off of products such as Accutane for at least a year before getting wax services.

Warning: The following list of medications are not recommended for waxing.

  • Adapalene (acne medication)
  • Austra (Retin A)
  • Average
  • Avita
  • Differing (acne medication)
  • Isotretinoin
  • Renova
  • Retin A (acne and anti-aging medication)
  • Tamarac
  • Tazarotene
  • Tretinoin

Caution:

These medications cause the skin to be more sensitive. Thin sensitive skin is more vulnerable to lifting and sensitivity during waxing. Other agents for hair or skin pigmentation, previous chemical depilatories, Benzoyl Peroxide, Alpha hydroxy acids (glycol, lactic), oral antibiotics, Retinol, salicylic acid or other exfoliants may also cause sensitivity.

Precautions & Considerations:
  • Sunburned irritated or areas with open skin cannot be waxed.
  • Moles cannot be waxed.
  • Must wait minimum of 7 days before waxing after light chemical peel or microdermabrasion.
  • Waxing cannot be performed if you have been in a tanning booth the same day.
  • Waxing cannot be performed if you had laser skin resurfacing within the past year.
  • Waxing cannot be performed if you had a physician administered peel within the past 2 years.
  • If irritation should occur, it is recommended you use an antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin to keep the area continually moist to avoid infection and scabbing.
